GREETINGS!
The GMVHOF Board of Directors thanks you for your continued interest, support and dedication toward our mission of honoring Georgia’s hero veterans and educating Georgia youth about the virtues of selfless service and sacrifice. Despite the onslaught of COVID-19, we were still able to induct 16 Georgia veterans into the GMVHOF Class of 2020. We are also pleased to announce that we awarded 50 GMVHOF JROTC Medals to 51 JROTC cadets and awarded the GMVHOF $3000.00 JROTC Scholarship to 5 very deserving cadets, also in 2020.
COVID-19 did however impact our Class of 2020 Induction Ceremony scheduled for last November and our Spring Portrait Unveiling of the Class of 2020. But we were not deterred. We are proud to announce that we will host a combined GMVHOF Class of 2020 Induction & Unveiling Ceremony on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater at Newtown Park, 3125 Old Alabama Rd. in Johns Creek, Georgia. Unlike the previous ceremonies held in Columbus, Georgia, this is a daytime event with no meal and no admission fee.
