The portraits of each year’s GMVHOF Inductee class are unveiled at the Portrait Unveiling Ceremony the first Spring immediately following the Fall Induction Ceremony. The ceremony is held either in the Georgia State Capitol Rotunda or across the street at the Slappy Ford War Memorial Building. Previous ceremonies have had the Georgia Governor and other State dignitaries in attendance, as well as Veterans from many sanctioned organizations, and JROTC cadets from all four Armed Services, who have participated in both this ceremony as well as the Induction Ceremony. The Inductee portraits are subsequently placed on the solemn walls of the Floyd Building alongside the portraits of previous classes of GMVHOF Inductees, and are visible to the public all year long.
